Dicerna Pharmaceuticals Relocates To Cambridge From Watertown

87 Cambridge Park DriveDicerna Pharmaceuticals has leased 37,186 square feet at 87 Cambridge Park Drive in the Alewife section of Cambridge for its new headquarters.

"The goal in Dicerna's search for a new headquarters location was to identify an office and laboratory space that would enhance our open and collaborative corporate culture," Jim Weissman, Dicerna's chief business officer, said in a statement. The company, which develops treatments for rare liver diseases and cancers, is currently located at 480 Arsenal St. in Watertown and will move to Cambridge in December.

Waltham-based King Street Properties recently acquired 87 and 200 Cambridge Park Drive for $54.5 million. The buildings total 284,000 square feet of office and lab space and are currently vacant. They were previously owned and occupied by Pfizer.

"Dicerna's interest in relocating to 87 CambridgePark Drive, immediately after our purchase of the building, validates our investment in the West Cambridge market," King Street Properties' Principal Stephen Lynch said in a statement.

Cushman & Wakefield's Mark Winters, David Townsend and Juliette Reiter represented King Street Properties. Dicerna was represented by Roy Hirshland and Mike Shreve of T3 Advisors.
