Polish, Westfield Credit Unions Merge

A merger was not part of the original discussion. When Jim Gardner, president and CEO of Chicopee-based Polish National Credit Union, had his first casual conversation with leaders of Westfield River Federal Credit Union, the topic didn’t even come up. Gardner said it was a meeting set up to facilitate Polish National’s first attempt to reach out to smaller credit unions by offering assistance and services.
Quartet of New Members Added to Credit Union Service Group

Credit unions are catching on that they need to offer more services to keep their members happy. The 1-year-old Northeast Members Business Services, better known as Northeast CUSO, a credit union service organization providing the infrastructure to service and manage small-business loans for credit unions, is generating new interest and new partners.
