Signature Open-Space Plan Taking Shape Within Fort Point 100 Acres

After nearly a decade of advocacy by Boston’s Fort Point community, the Boston Redevelopment Authority is including an expansive recreational green space within its Fort Point 100 Acres Master Plan in South Boston. The visionary, 3.5-acre park design had developed in the late 1990s after the Boston Society of Architect’s Seaport Focus Team collaborated with the community and the Seaport Alliance for a Neighborhood Design group to initiate the concept.
