Expedited permitting – the fast-tracking of commercial development – is clearly on a fast-track at the State House. What needs to be placed in the mix are some thoughtful guidelines regarding location of the development we accelerate. In short, we need to make sure we don’t end up fast-tracking the conversion of farmland into Wal-Marts.
