Gorin to Sell Two Assets, Build in Hub

H.N. Gorin Inc. is putting two prime commercial properties up for sale, but the Boston-based real estate investment and development company is hardly abandoning its hometown, as evidenced by intentions to construct a new office building in the Hub’s North Station district.

At $370,000 per room, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurant Group is paying a hefty price to buy Boston’s Nine Zero hotel, but Acquisitions Director Joseph Long insists the opportunity is worth the investment of nearly $70 million.
