Driving through the streets of New Orleans recently, I began to realize that conditions were even worse than reported. That’s right. Even with memories still fresh of TV anchors moaning and groaning and melodramatically wringing their hands, once there on the scene it seemed to me reports about the extent of the disaster were understated.
