Safety Matters
The state’s new carbon monoxide detector laws have just gone into effect. Now carbon monoxide safety is being treated with the same level of seriousness as fire safety, and with good reason. “Nicole’s Law” is named for Nicole Garofalo, a 7-year-old Plymouth girl who died of carbon monoxide poisoning last January after snow covered a vent to her family’s propane boiler.
