Recently there has been much written regarding the intentions of several national retail chains to establish locations in the Greater Boston area. A few months ago, Simon Mall and Nordstrom, a high-end department store chain, announced that Nordstrom intends to open stores at the Burlington, South Shore and North Shore malls over the next several years.
