‘The People’s Beach’ Draws Prospective Buyers to its Shores

Built in 1930, this Colonial-style home located at 35 Waitt Park in Revere comes with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a partially finished basement. It is being offered for sale at $379,900.
Since Revere Beach’s opening day on July 12, 1896, an event that an estimated 45,000 people attended, it has been considered “the people’s beach,” populated in great part by the working class and immigrant masses who had settled in the area.
