R&BMassachusetts now has several laws on the books intended to promote thoughtful development in the Bay States 351 communities. Some cities and towns embrace these statutes and in doing so enjoy their benefits; others see them as a burden and therefore their experience with them is far less satisfying. A Strong Start For the first time in two years, the number of single-family home sales in Massachusetts actually increased, according to January tallies. While this certainly doesnt signify a trend, the news is still worth noting: Given the generally depressed real estate market, its an encouraging start to the new year.
