Getting the Return You Deserve on Home Renovations

FRANK SHIRLEY is an architect in Cambridge, specializing in additions to, and renovations of, historical houses. He is the author of “New Rooms for Old Houses,” to be published by the Taunton Press. MARK LANDRY is president of Landmark Services (www.landmarkservices.com), a general contracting firm based in Walpole. BRUCE IRVING (irving.bruce@gmail.com), vice chairman of the Cambridge Historical Commission, is a renovation consultant based in Cambridge, advising and aiding homeowners who are undertaking their own renovations. The three presented a workshop at Boston’s Residential Design and Construction show on April 5 called “10 Things I Hate About Your Renovation.”
