Paving the Way for Tomorrow: Applying Sustainability to Schools

A 950-square-foot classroom recently was added to The Carroll School in Lincoln. The sustainable classroom, which maximizes natural light and includes a high-efficiency heating unit, is the country’s first green modular school building.

Sustainable concepts can be applied to projects of all sizes, even a 950-square-foot classroom. Designed by ARC/Architectural Resources Cambridge and recently installed at The Carroll School in Lincoln, a sustainable classroom has become the nation’s first green modular school building.
