
Trade Groups, AG to Meet on Mortgage Regs
By Amy Wyeth Claiming that state regulations set to go into effect next week could put mortgage brokers out of business and hurt the consumers they are intended to help, representatives of two major mortgage trade groups are planning to meet with Attorney General Martha Coakley and her staff on Friday. One leader said that his organization is contemplating legal action to challenge the new regulations if industry concerns are not addressed at the Friday session.
