Henry J. DiGiacomo ­ Reaching out on Facebook
Some Bay State Realtors are reaching out to younger consumers by learning the ins and outs of cyber-schmoozing. In fact, one local Realtor group is even hosting classes to teach agents how to develop their own profile page on the popular social networking site Facebook. The Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors has hosted two free 90-minute classes for members who want a presence on Facebook. The association is planning more in the summer. “This is where Generation X and Y congregate,” explained Henry J. DiGiacomo, the association’s CEO. DiGiacomo said the site enables Realtors to network with old friends and reach out to new prospects.
