
Association President Sees Light at End of Crossing's Tunnel

In 1977, she defeated Louise Day Hicks, the once-powerful leader of Bostons anti-busing movement, for a seat on the Boston City Council. Today, as president of the Downtown Crossing Association, she may have taken on the biggest challenge of her career in trying to breathe new life into the citys troubled retail center.
