Mark S. Cochran recently was inducted into “Who’s Who in America’s Credit Unions” for 2008. Designed to honor the highest levels of leadership, accomplishment and service in the credit union field, “Who’s Who in America’s Credit Unions” annually recognized those who have contributed most to the nation’s credit union movement. Cochran was nominated for the recognition based upon his leadership among the nation’s 8,500 credit unions and, in particular, his service at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union in Lowell. Upon nomination, Cochran was selected for the 2008 award by the editorial advisory board of Who’s Who. Cochran serves as president and chief executive officer at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, one of the oldest credit unions in the country. He is the former executive vice president and chief operating officer of Affinity Federal Credit Union and president and chief operating officer of Affinity Financial Services. Cochran has more than 25 years of experience in the financial-services sector.
