Bose comes to Boston Landing

Framingham-based audio equipment manufacturer Bose Corp. is bringing a piece of its corporate operations to Brighton with the signing of a 98,000-square-foot lease.

Details on the size of the Brighton workforce and which operations will be located there are still being decided, Bose spokeswoman Joanne Berthiaume said. The headquarters will remain in Framingham at 100 Mountain Road.

The Bose lease leaves just 40,000 square feet available at Brighton Landing, the 80 Guest St. tower that is part of the 15-acre Boston Landing development alongside the Massachusetts Turnpike. The mixed-use development has a potential build-out of over 2.5 million square feet.

The 246,405-square-foot office and lab building at 80 Guest St. recently signed leases with life science tenants Roche Diagnostics Operations and Proteostasis Therapeutics for a combined 60,000 square feet. The Boston Bruins’ practice facility, Warrior Ice Arena, opened last year on the building’s lower levels.

Transwestern Consulting Group’s Steve Purpura and Perry Beal represent landlord NB Development. McCall & Almy represented Bose.
