North Shore Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Kevin M. Tierney Sr., recently met with Peabody Mayor Ted Bettencourt and members of the Peabody Cultural Collaborative to present a check for $10,000.
Bristol County Savings Bank
Bristol County Savings Bank and its foundation announced it had awarded more than $1.9 million to 184 nonprofit organizations within the communities it serves in 2018.
Charles River Bank
Medway-based Charles River Bank awarded scholarships to area residents Catherine Dunne, Lillian Sears and Jessica Daly. Scholarship recipients must demonstrate that they have successfully completed their first semester of college and are enrolled for second semester classes, and must either participate as a student-teller in the School Bank Program at Medway High School or be employed at any of Charles River Bank’s three branches.
Cornerstone Bank
Worcester-based Cornerstone Bank gave $2,500 to both the Literacy Volunteers of Greater Worcester and the Literacy Volunteers of South Central MA.
North Shore Bank
Peabody-based North Shore Bank donated $10,000 to the Peabody Cultural Collaborative to sponsor the Banking and Philanthropy exhibit at the city’s future Curious City Pop-Up Children’s Museum.
Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo donated $10.6 million and 10,500 volunteer hours to 125 organizations in Massachusetts in 2018.
