As part of the celebration for the opening of its new Kendall Square branch, Bank of America gave $25,000 to the Cambridge Housing Authority.

Bristol County Savings Bank

Taunton-based Bristol County Savings Bank presented $346,160 to nonprofits in its service areas in Southeastern Massachusetts.

Cape Cod 5

Orleans-based Cape Cod 5 donated $5,000 to the Yarmouth Police Foundation.

Dedham Savings

Dedham Savings donated $5,000 to the Bay State Learning Center for use as financial aid. The Bay State Learning Center was founded in 2013 to provide an alternative for children who aren’t thriving in a traditional educational environment. BSLC gives children the opportunity to work with a mentor and design a learning plan that complements their strengths and interests. The bank also gave $1,500 to the Dedham Art Association.

Easthampton Savings Bank

Easthampton Savings Bank donated $5,000 to the Hampshire Regional YMCA’s efforts to renovate its pool and other facilities.

Harbor Mortgage Solutions

Chris Downey, president of Braintree-based Harbor Mortgage Solutions, is set to ride with his team from Harbor in the 2019 Pan-Mass Challenge on Aug. 3 and 4. The team of 13 will be riding a total of 163 miles from Wellesley to Provincetown, in honor of their Pedal Partner, Charlie, a five-year-old boy from Cohasset who is currently going through cancer treatment.

Fitchburg-based IC Credit Union gave $1,000 to the Ashburnham Westminster School District as part of an ongoing fundraising effort.

Lowell-based Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union awarded $1,500 to Joni & Friends New England, a New Hampshire group that serves individuals with disabilities.

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank gave $10,000 to Musterfield Place, a local summer camp.

Newburyport Bank

Newburyport Bank gave $1,500 to the Massachusetts Bankers Association Charitable Foundation Inc. Founded in 1996, the foundation makes contributions to nonprofits nominated by member banks.

A team from Rockland Trust offered its time and talent to the South Shore Habitat for Humanity multifamily project on Feinberg Bog Road in Duxbury.

Rollstone Bank & Trust

Fitchburg-based Rollstone Bank & Trust Foundation this week donated $1,000 to the Fitchburg Fire Department to support the upgrade of its monument to fallen firefighters on display at Fitchburg’s Upper Common.

Savings Bank Mutual Life Insurance Co. employees and their friends and family members participated in the 2019 Lawyers Have Heart 5K Boston Road Race as “Team SBLI,” raising $1,125 for the American Heart Association. SBLI is based in Woburn.
