Bristol County Savings Bank

Taunton-based Bristol County Savings Bank donated $100,000 from Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston’s Jobs for New England Recovery Program to nine local nonprofits impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Recipients include the Downtown Taunton Foundation, the Girls & Boys Club of New Bedford and Immigrants’ Assistance Center.

Hanscom Federal Credit Union

Hanscom Federal Credit Union donated $1,000 to Great Divide Animal Rescue and $500 each to Kiva, Mental Health America and Girls Who Code as part of its #BuildHope charity campaign. The campaign also led to 124 employee donations of $10 each to 33 different groups chosen by the lender’s employees. Total donations generated by the campaign totaled $3,700.

HarborOne Bank

Brockton-based HarborOne Bank gave $142,475 to match an equivalent amount donated by employees to the United Way of Greater Plymouth County.

Mechanics Cooperative Bank

Fall River-based Mechanics Cooperative Bank donated $5,000 to Fall River United Way. The gift will support some of the 30-plus health and human service agencies in the Fall River area that receive funding from the nonprofit.

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank gave $10,000 to the Natick Service Council to support the organization’s efforts to assist neighbors facing rent or mortgage related financial needs.

The bank also gave $5,000 to the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired to support their assistive technology training services for older adults, offered in partnership with the Natick Community-Senior Center.
