Braintree-based nonprofit housing developer Affordable Housing and Services Collaborative Inc. recently donated $1,000 Amazon gift cards to 12 households recently displaced by a fire in Taunton.

Cape Cod 5

Hyannis-based Cape Cod 5 made a $2 million loan fund for child care and early education providers to be administered by Coastal Community Capital, a local community development financial institution headquartered in Barnstable.

City Realty

Staff from Boston-based developer and multifamily landlord City Realty took part in the spring Love Your Block clean-up. The City Realty Team worked to sweep, apply mulch, plant and clean up trash in various parts of Allston and Brighton.

Hanscom Federal Credit Union

Hanscom Federal Credit Union donated $500 to the spring cleanup of the Major General Harold J. Greene memorial in Natick. Greene, born in Boston and raised in upstate New York, was a decorated general who once commanded the Natick Soldier Systems Center laboratories and was killed in Afghanistan in 2014.

Greater Boston Labor Council

The Greater Boston Labor Council donated a new freezer unit to to Shirley’s Food Pantry in Mattapan, which serves a community with one of the highest rates of food insecurity in Boston.

Lee Bank

Lee Bank gave $56,500 to 12 Berkshrire-based community organizations in its first round of 2021 grants. Recipients were awarded grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 to support their work on social justice issues, environmental conservation, food and housing security.

Monson Savings Bank

Monson Savings Bank gave $1,500 to Shriner’s Hospital for Children’s Putting for a Purpose mini-golf tournament.

People’s United Bank

Connecticut-based People’s United Bank donated $10,000 to Malden-based Triangle Inc.’s Empowering People for Inclusive Communities (EPIC) job-training program for local high school students.
