Bay State Savings Bank

On Feb. 12, Bay State Savings Bank will conduct its 12th Annual $5,000 Dig for Cash. The event will benefit Bay State Savings Bank’s Champions for Children initiative, established in 2004 to support local organizations that provide a wide range of aid and opportunities for the community’s youth.

 

Belmont Savings Bank

Belmont Savings Bank sponsored the annual Watertown youth spelling bee, hosted by the Watertown Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises funds to support programs and initiatives of the Watertown Public Schools. The bank distributed a $3,250 check to the organization for opening up a rewards checking account.

 

Berkshire Bank

Berkshire Bank recently partnered with the Norman Rockwell Museum to provide free admission for U.S. veterans and active military to the “Love a Vet: Honoring Our Veterans” exhibit.

 

Bristol County Savings Bank

Bristol County Savings Bank will sponsor Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts’s Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts, a business strategy competition in which high school students compete against one another in teams using an online, interactive business simulation program at UMass Dartmouth on March 15.

Members Plus Credit Union has announced it will offer five Joseph A. McCarthy and Martin J. Nee scholarships for $1,000 each.

The MutualOne Charitable Foundation has awarded $3,000 to Natick’s Morse Institute Library to increase the number of educational technology tools available to local youth.

 

North Brookfield Savings Bank

North Brookfield Savings Bank gave Edward Dudek of Belchertown a $100 gift certificate as the winner of “Where It’s At” Hat Contest.

 

Rockland Trust

Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation donated $340,000 to support the John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club of Newton’s renovations and educational programming expansion.

 

Rollstone Bank & Trust

Rollstone Bank & Trust recently donated $1,500 to the Leominster Public Library for a children’s music program that will include six classes and two concerts.
