The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod recently announced the appointment of Matt Varnum as vice president of government banking.
In his new role, Varnum will work with the bank’s existing team to serve Cape communities and a variety of separate fire, water and school districts.
Varnum has worked as vice president and director of government banking at Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank for the past 10 years, bringing along his experience working with municipalities.
“We’re excited to have Matt join our team and look forward to growing our municipal offerings and government banking program under his direction,” Joel G. Crowell, president and CEO, said in a statement.”
