As it prepares to break ground on a $120 million development in downtown Quincy, developer LBC Boston is settling into a new home in the City of Presidents.

The new 2,800-square-foot office at 1512 Hancock St. in Quincy Center was designed by Choo Architects and built out by Foley United Contractor.

In December, LBC received the Quincy City Council’s approval for a two-building, 350-unit development including commercial space and roof decks with amenity suites. LBC Boston previously developed the 171-unit Nova Quincy complex on Hancock Street, which opened in 2019 and is fully leased.

“We believe in the vision established in Quincy’s Urban Revitalization and Development Plan to modernize one of the most historic cities in the country, the only U.S. city where two U.S. presidents were born,” LBC Boston Principal Owner Andrian Shapiro said in a statement.

The company also is active in Boston as developer of Allston Green, comprising 349 compact living units at 20 Linden St.
