First Niagara Financial Group has announced the appointments of Jay McGuinness as vice president and relationship manager for business banking and Amy Ganci as vice president for small business banking for Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut.

In his new role, McGuinness will be responsible for managing existing clients and developing new commercial business relationships for companies with up to $25 million in revenue in Northeastern Connecticut and Southern Massachusetts. He will operate out of First Niagara’s New England Region Commercial Banking office in Manchester, Connecticut.

Ganci will be responsible for working with small businesses in Greater Springfield, Massachusetts, and Enfield, Connecticut, to present and explain the financial products, services and resources First Niagara can provide to meet individual business needs.

Amy GanciPrior to joining First Niagara, McGuinness worked with Connecticut Innovations and the United Mortgage Finance Group. Ganci previously worked for Webster Bank and the Commercial Lending Administration at United Bank.
