HFF Arranges Financing For Cambridge Retail Property

Nationwide Life Insurance Co. has provided $34.5 million in first mortgage financing for Alewife Brook Parkway shopping center in Cambridge.

The 47,004-square-foot retail center is anchored by Trader Joe’s and CVS. Located on a 3.5-acre site, the center also includes a TD Bank, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Mattress Firm, Sav-Mor Spirits, Genki Ya and T-Mobile.

HFF’s Riaz Cassum, Brett Paulsrud and Andrew Gray arranged the debt placement on behalf of owner Linear Retail Properties of Burlington.

Linear owns 82 retail properties in New England.
