A 220-unit rental complex developed in a Hingham office park under the state’s Chapter 40B affordable housing law is 50 percent leased following its recent completion by Callahan Construction Managers.
Designed by CUBE 3 Architects, The Cove comprises two four-story buildings above a 1-story parking podium. Callahan Construction Managers completed the project on behalf of developer Alliance Residential.
Units start in the $1,900s and include 10-foot ceilings, kitchen islands and oversized windows with water views. Common amenities include a media lounge with four-screen video wall, clubroom with beer and wine taps, top floor sky lounge and outdoor terrace.
The property previously was occupied by a former Hingham Mutual Insurance office building. Bridgewater-based Callahan Construction previously completed the Brio and Residences at Penniman Hill rental complexes in Hingham.
