- Needham-based tech company PTC will relocate in early 2019 to 121 Seaport, the new elliptical office being developed on the South Boston waterfront by Skanska.
- PTC leased 250,000 square feet on the ninth through 17th floors of the 400,000-square-foot tower built on speculation.
- Alexion Pharmaceuticals leased 150,000 square feet and will relocate 400 employees from New Haven, Connecticut to a new headquarters at 121 Seaport in June 2018.
- Designed by CBT Architects, 121 Seaport contains virtually column-free floor plates, 10-foot ceilings, panoramic views of Boston Harbor and the skyline, outdoor terraces and two floors of retail space.
- Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Skanska as the developer and owner of the project. Cresa represented PTC, while Cushman & Wakefield represented Alexion.
