More than 85 volunteers from the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association raised well over $40,000 and donated a day of their labor to help renovate a Dorchester veteran’s widow’s home. Repairs were made to virtually every system, from the basement floor to the roof. “It is so amazing to see these people who care and donated time and money to help me out,” homeowner Sue Campbell said. “There’s no way I could have afforded to do all this myself.
