A Korean fried chicken chain and a Starbucks cafe will become the newest additions to Malden Center’s retail scene.

Jefferson Apartment Group said fried chicken vendor bb.q Chicken will join French-Asian bakery cafe Tous Les Jours at its 320-unit J. Malden Center apartment community.

Starbucks is planning a fall opening at Exchange 200, the 300,000-square-foot redevelopment of 200 Exchange St. into office and R&D space by Boston-based Berkeley Investments. 110 Grill and Evviva Trattori opened last month.

The Fort Lee, New Jersey-based chicken vendor has locations in 18 states, including an Allston restaurant,  and plans to open the Malden restaurant this winter, Jefferson Apartment Group said. The menu features 12 wing varieties and other Korean specialties including kimchi fried rice.

Newmark Senior Managing Director Pat Paladino represented Berkeley Investments in the lease transaction, while Atlantic Retail’s Ben Ravelson and Steve Menty represented the coffee chain.
