Modera Medford, the latest transit-oriented multifamily development along the MBTA’s Orange Line, has begun move-ins for 297 apartments at 5 Cabot Road in Medford.

Mill Creek Residential developed the 5-story complex opposite the Wellington station.

Apartments range from 602-square-foot studios to 1,479-square-foot three-bedroom units and include nine-foot ceilings, wood plank flooring, stainless steel appliances, stone countertops with tile backsplash, 42-inch custom cabinetry, pendant lighting, washers and dryers, key fob entry systems and walk-in closets.

Modera Medford is marketing one-bedroom units starting at $2,331 per month with one month free rent on 12- to 18-month leases.

Designed by Cube3 Studio of Lawrence, the complex surrounds a 6-story parking garage. The property includes a 1,000-foot public walkway connecting with the Tufts Boat House and Woods Memorial Bridge. Common area amenities include a swimming pool, clubhouse, roof deck, fitness club, yoga studio and group fitness room.

The development joins a cluster of new multifamily complexes in the Orange Line north suburban market including the Criterion Development Partners’ nearby 504-unit River’s Edge apartment complex, the second phase of which is scheduled for completion this fall.
