Arbella Insurance

Mark Wheeler has been promoted to director of personal lines underwriting at Arbella Insurance Group. Wheeler will oversee the underwriting teams for Massachusetts and Connecticut. Wheeler joined Arbella in 2001 as a business analyst in personal lines research and development. He was elevated to his current role of manager of personal lines product in 2013.

Beverly Bank

Charles McGrath has been named assistant vice president of retail banking at Beverly Bank’s Danvers branch. He has previously held the positions of business banking officer, market manager, business development officer and financial adviser.

BOND

Medford-based civil, utility and energy construction firm BOND has hired Bryan Gubbins as director of business development. Prior to joining BOND, Grubbins was the director of real estate for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.

Cape Cod 5

Niranjan “Niru” Pande has joined Cape Cod 5 in the role of trust and asset management compliance officer. Prior to joining Cape Cod 5, Pande was senior financial analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, managing examinations, inspections and regulatory performance of financial institutions.

Massachusetts Housing Court

Gov. Charlie Baker has nominated Michael E. Malamut to the position of associate justice of the Housing Court, Eastern Division. Malamut has been of counsel to the Department of Housing & Community Development since 2009, including principal counsel to the Division of Housing Stabilization (2009-2014), senior counsel to the Division of Housing Stabilization and administrator of the Affordable Housing Preservation Program (2014-2017).

North Shore Bank

Erin Riley and Kimberly Rossi have been hired as sales and service managers in North Shore Bank’s Lynn Fells Parkway location in Saugus and West Peabody branch in the Big Y World Class Market, respectively.

North Brookfield Savings Bank

Rick Egan has been promoted to commercial lending team leader, vice president and commercial loan officer at North Brookfield Savings Bank. Egan joined the bank in 2012 as assistant vice president and commercial loan officer; he was most recently a vice president and commercial loan officer. Additionally, Pamela Kozlik has been promoted to assistant vice president, commercial credit analyst and portfolio manager of the commercial loan department. Throughout her career at NBSB she has held the position of branch manager, commercial credit analyst assistant and most recently assistant vice president and commercial credit analyst.

Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank

Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank has named Jean L. Trim to serve on its board of directors. Trim is currently managing director, portfolio manager and member of the investment policy committee at Vigilant Capital Management LLC, where she has been employed since 2011. Vigilant is an independent, SEC-registered investment advisor with offices in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Portland, Maine and more than $1 billion under management for high net worth individuals and families.

PWCampbell

PWCampbell has promoted Ben Mahtani to vice president and chief information officer. Mahtani joined PWCampbell in 2013 as the information technology director.
