Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts

Peter Gormley, president of Natick-based New England Waterproofing Inc. was elected last week as president of the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts for the 2020-2021 term. President-Elect Jeffrey Marr of the Marr Scaffolding Co. in Boston; Treasurer Steven Amanti of E. Amanti & Sons Inc. in Salem; Vice-President and Assistant Treasurer Matt Brown of Greenwood Industries Inc. in Worcester; and Vice-President Peter Townsend of ML McDonald Sales Co., LLC in Watertown.

At the event, longtime ASM member Russ Anderson, of Southeastern Metal Fabricators in Rockland, received ASM’s prestigious Joseph M. Corwin Pinnacle Award.

ASM members also elected nine new directors to the ASM board: Darlene Beshaw, senior vice president of Surety of Marsh & McLennan Agency, John Guarracino, principal of J.M. Electrical Co., Cassie Johnston, vice president of Fall River Electrical Assoc.; Michael Kosiver, president of Lockheed Window Corp.; Regina McGregor, vice president and general counsel of J.C. Cannistraro; Lenny Monfredo, executive vice president of E.M. Duggan; Brian Lynch, project manager of William F. BayCoast Bank

Maria G. Rego has been promoted to vice president of branch administration at Swansea-based BayCoast Bank.

Andrew Murphy has been named as the branch manager for BayCoast’s new Foxborough branch.

JPMorgan Chase

JPMorgan Chase is growing the venture capital team in its Boston office. Pamela Aldsworth has been hired as the team’s managing director. Dave Reich has been hired as the head of innovation economy debt solutions.

The company has also hired Chris Lloyd a managing director focused on health care and life sciences clients and to lead the bank’s efforts in the Northeast for middle market banking.

Consigli Construction

Darrin Ball has joined Consigli Construction as a project executive. He brings over 30 years of construction industry experience and will be leading pre-construction to closeout as well as business development for Consigli’s life science and academic markets.

Cornerstone Bank

Susan Gunnell will retire from her role as executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Worcester-based Cornerstone Bank. She will remain with the bank through April 2020 and help coordinate an effective transition for the executive team. Gunnell began her lengthy career at Southbridge Savings Bank in 1980 as a teller.

Mortgage Network Inc.

Four members of the Mortgage Network Inc.’s Longmeadow branch office were recognized as top originators of affordable mortgages through MassHousing during the 2019 fiscal year. Longmeadow Branch Manager Carrie Hamel, Senior Loan Officer Katya Magee, and loan officers Katherine Castro Eardley and Kenneth Askins were among the top-selling originators of MassHousing loans to low- and moderate-income residents in Massachusetts between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019, MassHousing said.

Needham Bank

Needham Bank announced that Adam Cupples has joined its Marketing Department as vice president and digital marketing director. Cupples was most recently vice president of digital marketing for Brockton-based HarborOne Bank.

Newburyport Bank

Newburyport Bank has created a new position, naming Scott Eaton as senior vice president and treasury and business deposit services manager. Eaton was previously the bank’s commercial lending team leader for Massachusetts.
