Reading Cooperative Bank
Reading Cooperative Bank announced six employees are the first graduates of its bank apprenticeship program, created in partnership with the state Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development. The six employees are: Banking Specialist IIs Justine Collins, Jake Gilbert, Karley Witham and Jenna Kowal; Banking Specialist I Wilbin Hiraldo; and teller Matthew Arsenault.
Rockland Trust
Hanover-based Rockland Trust has hired Peter Staiti as its new manager of business development and commercial relationships in the Greater Worcester area. Staiti was most recently vice president and senior commercial relationship manager for TD Bank.
South Shore Bank
Weymouth-based South Shore Bank has hired Stephen DiPretre as its next chief commercial banking officer. DiPretre comes to South Shore from Eastern Bank where he was a senior vice president on its middle market lending team.
The Village Bank
Newton-based The Village Bank has hired Robert Dolan as an assistant vice president and commercial loan officer. Previously, he was a vice president of commercial lending for Lowell Five.
The bank has also hired Gernette Wright as an assistant vice president and information security officer and Susan Lowell as an assistant vice president of residential lending. Wright was most recently senior manager of IT infrastructure and security operations for CIRCOR International in Burlington. Lowell joins the bank from USAlliance Federal Credit Union, where she was responsible for providing performing service quality reviews and ensuring compliance requirements and secondary market guidelines were met.
Webster Bank
Waterbury, Connecticut-based Webster bank recently appointed James P. Bush to its board of directors. Bush was most recently senior advisor to the chairman and CEO of American Express.
