Worcester-based The Architectural Heritage Foundation has hired Jake Sanders as the project executive for its renovation and redevelopment of the Worcester Memorial Auditorium. Sanders was previously chief of staff to Worcester City Manager Edward M. Augustus Jr.

Avison Young

Commercial real estate brokerage Avison Young has hired Steven Lacerte as a principal in its Boston project management group overseeing life sciences projects. Lacerte was previously a project executive for life science clients at national engineering and owners project management firm STV/DPM.

Country Bank 

Ware-based Country Bank has appointed four local businesspeople to its board of trustees and named four new corporators from local businesses in its service area:

  • Attorney Richard H. Maynard, owner of the Law Offices of Richard H. Maynard, PC, and Elizabeth Rappaport, partner at Century Investment, have joined the board of trustees.
  • Newly appointed Corporators include CIG Private Wealth Management Director of Retirement Plans Jennifer Cooke, Quaboag Community Development Corp. Loan Program Coordinator Melissa Fales, HUB International LLC Executive Vice President William Trudeau and Amcomm Wireless Cofounder and Principal Kyriakos Konstantaki.

Envision Bank

The holding company for Randolph-based Envision Bank announced that Paul R. Donovan retired as a member of the board of directors of the holding company and the bank on Sept. 20.

North Brookfield Savings Bank

North Brookfield Savings Bank has hired three new customer experience associates to its retail department: Brandi Sagendorph Matthew Kile and Jon Midwood. Sagendorph was previously a pharmacy technician at CVS, Kile was previously an assistant produce manager at the Big Y grocery store in West Springfield and Midwood was previously a firefighter for the Bondsville Fire Department.

The Peabody Cos.

Braintree-based real estate and property management firm The Peabody Cos. has hired Robert Fine as director of accounting. Fine was previously an assurance director at CohnReznick.

Rockland Trust Co.

Hanover-based Rockland Trust Co. has hired John Cotton as a vice president and commercial loan officer based in Hyannis. Cotton is a selectman in Mashpee, a member of the board of directors for the Cape Cod Home Builders Association and was previously vice president of commercial lending at First Citizen’s Federal Credit Union.

Savills 

Commercial real estate firm Savills has hired former Avison Young commercial brokers Ron Perry, Larry Epstein and Matt Perry for its T3 Advisors arm.

Shepley Bulfinch

Boston architecture firm Shepley Bulfinch has promoted Joe Herzog to executive vice president of market strategy and Luke Voiland to executive vice president of practice strategy. The appointments mark the next phase of leadership changes at Shepley Bulfinch following the recent elevation of Angela Watson to president and CEO.

Sherin and Lodgen 

Boston law firm Sherin and Lodgen has hired Marcella Alvarez Morgan and Stella T. Oyalabu as associates in the firm’s litigation department. Both will represent clients in complex business, employment, professional liability and real estate disputes.

The Washington Trust Mortgage Co.

Rhode Island-based mortgage lender The Washington Trust Mortgage Co. has hired Bill Niland as vice president and regional manager of its Braintree office.
