PWCampbell augments its New England footprint, Unibank promotes two, and The Cooperative Bank gets a new CFO in this week’s Personnel File

BayCoast Mortgage Co.

Heather Burke has been promoted to vice president and finance and marketing manager at BayCoast Mortgage Co. (formerly NFC Mortgage). Burke will oversee BayCoast’s finance and marketing activities as well as direct investor relations. Burke joined BayCoast in 2013 as a business analyst and lead coordinator.

 

The Cooperative Bank

Chaz Berkeley has joined Roslindale-based The Cooperative Bank as senior vice president and CFO. He will oversee the accounting and finance division, and report on all accounting and financial matters. Berkeley will also be responsible for managing the bank’s financial position including interest rate risk management, liquidity and funding needs. Berkeley is a certified public accountant and has more than 10 years of experience with a focus on community banks.

 

North Shore Bank

North Shore bank has hired Joseph Bartolotta to the new position of senior vice president and chief customer officer to manage the rollout of new technology and services to meet customers’ changing needs. He will oversee retail banking and service delivery, managing the integration of new technology and services to support bank’s customers in meeting their financial goals.

 

Peabody Properties

Adam Kenney was recently promoted to vice president of operations at Peabody Properties. In his 13 years with the company, Kenney has been instrumental in helping to expand its managed portfolio and brand. He has also played a key role in developing new business opportunities and building a great team of leaders.

 

PWCampbell

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based PWCampell, a retail services and design/build firm, is expanding into New England and has hired a seasoned professional to lead the company’s efforts. Alan DeToma, a New England native with over 20 years of industry experience, has been hired as regional vice president.

 

Reading Cooperative Bank

Jason Melo has joined Reading Cooperative Bank as information security analyst. He will be the point person for the security of information systems and associated data, spearheading the bank’s quality assurance and analysis efforts. He joins the bank with 14 years of IT industry experience; most recently he was the IT manager at Cambridge-based GenArts Inc.

 

Rockland Trust

Daniel Gillette has been appointed senior vice president and regional manager of corporate banking within the Rockland Trust’s commercial team. He brings more than 30 years of financial services experience to the bank, most recently serving as Citizens Bank’s senior vice president and market manager for 18 years.

 

UniBank

Katrina Sweeney has been promoted to assistant vice president and consumer loan underwriter at Whittinville-based UniBank. She is responsible for overseeing consumer loans through processing and underwriting. Sweeney joined UniBank in 2013 as assistant branch manager. She has over 10 years of banking experience, previously working at Bank of America and TD Bank. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from New England College of Business and Finance.

Additionally, Pamela Cutler has been promoted to assistant vice president of electronic banking. She is responsible for managing the onboarding, training and support of cash management services for business and municipal online banking customers. Cutler has been with UniBank for three years and has more than 20 years of experience in financial services.
