Marie Presti, broker-owner of The Presti Group in Newton, is officially the 2018 president of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors (GBAR). She was installed in ceremonies held at the Boston-Newton Marriott in Newton last week.
As GBAR president, Presti will be the primary spokesperson for GBAR, preside at all meetings of GBAR’s board of directors and executive committee and appoint chairpersons, vice chairpersons and members for all GBAR standing committees, task forces and work groups. Additionally, Presti sits on the board of directors for the Massachusetts and National association of Realtors as well as the Greater Boston Real Estate Board.
A Realtor for 17 years, Presti will also be on the GBAR Awards Selection and Mediation committees this year. She has also been a member of the MAR’s Government Affairs Committee and is on NAR’s Research Committee this year. She is a graduate of the MAR Leadership Academy. She was GBAR’s 2017 Realtor of the Year.
