Boston-based residential property manager Barkan Management has secured eight new commitments to manage multifamily properties totaling nearly 1,300 units in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and the mid-Atlantic region.

The new management contracts in the New England region include the 60-unit Treetops in Falmouth, the 49-unit 14 West Broadway in Boston, 164-unit Huckins Farm in Bedford and 215-unit Quaker Valley in Warwick, Rhode Island. Mid-Atlantic properties include the 248-unit Haven at National Harbor in Maryland, the 192-unit Vistas at Laurel Lakes, 208-unit Chantilly Park in Virginia and Fairmont 1005 and Fairmont 100, a pair of 74-unit condominium complexes in Hyattville, Maryland.

Headquartered in Boston, Barkan Management has regional offices in Barnstable, Hopkinton, Hartford, Providence, New York and Tyson’s Corner, Virginia. Its portfolio of managed properties in nine states totals more than 25,000 units in nine states includes condos, cooperatives and both market-rate and affordable apartments.
