Seven developers have submitted proposals for a 600,000-square-foot mixed-use project on Massport’s parcel H in Boston’s Seaport District.

The group includes prolific Seaport developers including The Drew Co., The Fallon Co. and Skanska, along with Lincoln Property Co., which is partnering on the 304-unit Ora Seaport apartment complex under construction on Massport’s nearby parcel K.

Another respondent, South Carolina-based Greystar, owns the Zinc apartments in East Cambridge and Elan Union Market in Watertown and recently acquired the Ocean 650 complex in Revere. Its head of development previously worked for Cronin Development, which is building the nearby St. Regis Residences on Seaport Boulevard.

Beverly-based Barnat Development, specializes in transit-oriented projects such as the Holmes Beverly apartments next to the MBTA’s Beverly Depot station. And Boston-based Trinity Financial recently completed construction of the Treadmark apartments near Dorchester’s Ashmont MBTA station.

In a statement, Massport said it the strong field of responses reflects parcel H’s “direct access to public transportation and prominent location in Boston’s evolving South Boston Waterfront.”

The offer to develop the 1.1-acre parcel at 701 Congress St. includes an option to develop another 1.4 acres of air rights on Silver Line Way, and Massport suggested that developers could improve the MBTA’s Silver Line Way station as part of the project.

Massport’s mix of suggested uses includes offices, lab space, a hotel and housing. The agency also sought “inspired architecture” and creative placemaking for the public realm.

Massport recommended developers limit on-site parking to 200 spaces, while utilizing the agency’s nearby waterfront transportation center on D Street for additional capacity. Suggested upgrades to the Silver Line station include a drop-off spot on Congress Street, a pair of 200-foot-long boarding areas and access from Starboard Way.

Development teams also will be evaluated based upon inclusion of minority- and women-owned businesses.
