A top Keller Williams team is moving over to Livian, the real estate company co-owned by KW.

The Miale Team will be Livian’s “territory leader” in New England, charged with expanding the company’s footprint throughout the Northeast and “support[ing] the production growth of our agents and leaders in New England,” according to a statement posted to Livian’s and The Miale Team’s Facebook pages.

West Hartford, Connecticut-based The Miale Team was previously affiliated with Keller Wililams Legacy Partners. In its announcement, Livian said the team has closed over 3,500 homes, and over $1 billion in real estate sales since it was launched in 2010, putting it in the top ranks of Keller Williams’ New England teams. The Miale Team closed 587 homes in 2021, Livian said. The Miale team lists 28 agents on its website including founder and CEO Matthew Miale.

“The trajectory of our industry favors consolidation of services so we can continue to serve our clients and our team agents at a higher level,” Miale said in a statement. “Partnering with Livian gives us a definitive advantage in the market to bring tools to our agents, and service to our clients faster, and with more efficiency. Our commitment is ultimately to our customers, so they can have a better, more efficient, streamlined real estate experience. I couldn’t be more excited to build this industry-changing platform with Livian.”

Livian was formed in October 2021 after KW invested in Vermont-based Hergenrother Realty Group which advertises itself as “an all-in-one real estate platform that simplifies homeownership for clients and agents,” offering mortgage, title and insurance in addition to traditional buyer and seller agency. Until now, Livian’s only team in Connecticut was based in Farmington and run by Sandie Terenzi. Outside of Vermont, the company only lists New England affiliates in Massachusetts (KW Premier Properties in Milford, Massachusetts), New Hampshire and Maine (KW Coastal Lakes and Mountains Realty in Gilford, New Hampshire). The company lists no Rhode Island or New York State affiliates.
