| UniBank, a merger between Uxbridge and Whitinsville Savings Banks, recently received the 2012 Stoddard Award from the United Way of Massachusetts.
The Stoddard Award recognizes the outstanding leadership provided by a company to the United Way, through exceptional employee campaigns and strong volunteer representation. It is the highest honor the United Way of Central Massachusetts bestows upon an organization.
In 2012, UniBank donated more than $68,000 to the United Way, and 74 percent of the bank’s employees contributed to this sum.
