A Boston-based condo developer has bought a Bay Village parking lot from Norwood-based National Amusements for $9.25 million.

New Boston Ventures, developer of such projects at the Boulevard on the Greenway and The Lucas condos in South End, closed on the transaction for 132 Arlington St. last week.

The site spans 14,180 square feet leased to Central Parking.

The Dartmouth Co.’s David Smookler and Peter Considine represented the seller.

“Along with the National Amusements team, we had identified the potential opportunity to monetize the 132 Arlington St. which was no longer core to our client’s operations.  The level of interest from high quality buyers with creative plans for the development of this site was impressive,” The Dartmouth Co. said in a statement.

Dartmouth Co. was selected to market the property last fall as a potential multifamily development site.
