Boston Properties Expands Suburban Portfolio With $106M Deal

Boston Properties is adding to its suburban portfolio with the $106 million acquisition of a 28-acre Waltham office park.

The Boston-based REIT acquired the 392,600-square-foot Waltham Woods property at 880 and 890 Winter St. from AEW Capital Management.

The buildings are 82 percent leased to 24 companies. Amenities include two cafes, a large, landscaped outdoor seating area, a fitness center, a conference center and abundant parking.

Boston Properties owns more than 4 million square feet of class A office space in Waltham, including the 1 million-square-foot Bay Colony office park adjacent to Waltham Woods.
