Citizens to Open First Branch in Seaport

Citizens Bank is opening its first branch in one of Boston’s most bustling neighborhoods.

The bank confirmed this morning that it will open a 1,500 square foot branch in the Seaport that will be located at 338 Congress St. The branch is slated to be officially open sometime in mid-December.

There will be a staff of six in the branch including one branch manager, two licensed bankers, one small business relationship banker, one relationship banker and one universal banker. Customers will also have access to Citizens’ business banking, mortgage and wealth services through staff in neighboring branches.

Citizens Financial Group currently has the most branches out of any bank in Massachusetts, with roughly 250 branches.
