An “ale and lager paradise” serving “elevated pub fare” at 374 Congress St. in Boston’s Fort Point has scheduled its soft opening for New Year’s Eve.

City Tap House, which is operated by Table 95 Hospitality Group, has two existing locations in Philadelphia along with restaurants in Washington, D.C. and West Palm Beach, Florida.

The 6,000-square-foot Boston location will include a 50-seat private events room, seasonal patio with fire pits and 150-seat dining room decorated with reclaimed wood and exposed steel beams. The copper-clad bar equipped with 11 TVs will have 100 beer selections including 60 selections on tap, cocktails and an emphasis on brown liquors, according to a statement.

An open kitchen will turn out specialties ranging from $9 small plates, such as salt-roasted beets, to daily supper specials, including crispy suckling pig for $24.
