Reading Cooperative Bank volunteered at and participated in the 4th Annual Take Action Walkathon, hosted by the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club. The walkathon attracted over 200 people and raised over $35,000 to support its educational opportunity programs.

North Brookfield Savings Bank

North Brookfield Savings Bank will hold its Annual Toy Drive on Nov. 1-Dec. 11, and will accept donations of new and unwrapped toys for children between the ages of infant to 12 years old at any branch location. All toys collected will be donated to local toy programs in each community, to ensure that local children in need will receive holiday presents.

 

North Shore Bank

North Shore Bank has partnered for the eighth year in a row to serve as signature event sponsor for Citizens Inn’s largest annual fundraiser, an auction and gala event held at Danversport Yacht Club on Oct. 27 and hosted by Randy Price from WCVB TV’s The Eyeopener. The Citizens Inn Gala will include live music, a live and silent auction, and food and dancing.

 

Reading Cooperative Bank

Rollstone Bank & Trust

Through its charitable foundation Rollstone Bank & Trust held its seventh Charitable Golf Tournament, raising money to benefit local charities. This year’s proceeds were earmarked for local children’s charities. Five groups each received $8,000, for a total of $40,000. The groups included: Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz; LEAD (Let’s Empower And Do); Karen’s Closet; the Nicholas James Foundation; and Foosteps2Brilliance, through the United Way.

 

The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod

The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod held three different special Charity Jeans Days to raise over $3,000 for the local chapter of the American Red Cross to support its hurricane relief efforts. The bank also launched its #GivingTuesday Restock the Shelves Food Drive in all nine of its branches. From Nov. 1-27, the bank will be collect unexpired, nonperishable food items and monetary donations to benefit local food pantries.
