Bristol County Savings Bank

Bristol County Savings Bank donated $75,000 towards the 500-student Global Learning Charter Public School’s $8 million capital campaign to fund the renovation of a historic building located at 106 Bullard St. in New Bedford.

Cornerstone Bank

Worcester-based Cornerstone Bank gave $25,000 to the YMCA of Central Massachusetts to support youth development programs and services as well as the Livestrong at the YMCA initiative, a fitness program for cancer survivors.

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union awarded $17,000 in college scholarships to 21 area students who won the credit union’s annual essay contest.

Leominster Credit Union

Leominster Credit Union gave $5,000 to the Campus Bound program at Leominster High School, a team of college counselors who work with the schools’ guidance department to help get students navigate the road to college.

Martha’s Vineyard Bank

Edgartown-based Martha’s Vineyard Bank gave $2,500 each to Friends of Nobska Light, The 300 Committee Land Trust and Media Voices for Children as part of its annual Community Impact Grant program.

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank gave $12,000 for upgrades at the city’s Veterans Memorial Park spearheaded by the Framingham Police Associations. Upgrades include cleaning the park’s veterans memorial, installing flagpoles and bringing the site into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

North Easton Savings Bank

North Easton Savings Bank donated $2,500 to the nonprofit My Brother’s Keeper in celebration of retiring trustee Larry Noonan’s 20 years of work with the bank. The nonprofit, which delivers food and furniture to families in need, is “dear to Noonan’s heart,” the bank said in a statement.

Rollstone Bank & Trust

Fitchburg-based Rollstone Bank & Trust gave $15,000 to the North Middlesex Regional School District in Townsend to fund a solar-powered scoreboard for the district’s teams.
