Firefighters extinguished a blaze that broke out on the 25th story of a high-rise apartment tower at The Hub on Causeway at Boston’s North Station hours before Saturday night’s Bruins game.

First responders were called to the scene shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The 38-story tower containing 440 units is scheduled for completion in late 2019. The fire will not delay completion, construction manager John Moriarty & Assoc. said in a statement Monday.

The Boston Fire Department reported on Twitter that there were no elevators in service and firefighters had to walk up to the 25th floor with hoses and other equipment.

There were no reports of injuries. The fire caused $200,000 in damages, Boston Fire Chief of Operations John Walsh told the Associated Press. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The 1.9-million-square-foot Hub on Causeway is a joint venture between TD Garden owners Delaware North Cos. and Boston Properties. In addition to the apartment building, the project will include an office podium building leased to Rapid7, an office tower anchored by Verizon, Star Market, 15-screen ArcLight Cinema, Live Nation concert venue, restaurants and a food hall.

The fire did not affect the neighboring sports arena and the Bruins’ game against the Ottawa Senators went ahead on schedule.
