Hudson-based Calare Properties plans to update a vacant 40,500-square-foot Framingham office building following a $3.3 million acquisition.

The former American Cancer Society offices are located on a 2.5-acre parcel near exit 13 on the Massachusetts Turnpike with highway frontage. Floor plates range from 7,200 to 9,000 square feet and can be adapted for full- and half-floor tenants, as well as full building tenants.

Calare plans to update the facade, exterior lighting, lobby and interiors. CBRE represents building ownership in leasing opportunities.
