Ohio Developer Breaks Ground On First Bay State Project

Ohio-based developer NRP Group has broken ground on a 204-unit apartment complex in Worcester County for its first Massachusetts project.

Located at 65 River Road West in Berlin, The Rockwell is part of a master-planned community called Riverbridge Village being developed by Riverbridge North LLC. Riverbridge Village includes a Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel, a Growing Room daycare center, a wine and coffee shop and a gas station. Future phases are anticipated to include up to 40,000 square feet of additional retail.

Ten percent of the property’s units will be designated as affordable at varying income levels, with units awarded by lottery. Amenities will include a kayak launch, clubhouse and pool.

Financial partners on The Rockwell are equity provider HQ Capital and lender M&T Bank. The Rockwell is scheduled for completion in 2021.
